Gushing 'gash' not really an emergency

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office was called to Rose Crossing with a report of a man that had a “gash in his forehead.” The person who called in the injury said there was blood everywhere. A deputy met the man and described it as more of a “small abrasion.” The injured man declined medical help and did “not feel like talking about what happened.”
A man who went to file for a tax extension learned that his taxes had already been filed by an apparent scammer.
A reportedly drunken man walked into a Montana 35 business and propositioned an employee for lewd acts. Deputies were unable to locate the suspect.
The Whitefish Police Department was advised of a possible spat between a music artist and a Central Avenue business. An employee thought a forcible removal might be required after the artist said “bad things” about the business owner during a performance. The musician reportedly left without incident.
A dispute arose on Colorado Avenue when a man allegedly threatened to break into someone’s home to retrieve his reading glasses.
While making a bank transaction, a woman apparently had some choice words for the Columbia Falls Police Department. The bank employee reported this, saying that the patron “does not like CPD officers.”
The Kalispell Police Department responded to a fire at an apartment on Fifth Avenue East that was contained quickly.
Four teenagers were yelling on First Avenue East. That’s according to a concerned citizen who asked the Kalispell Police to check on them and their “stray dog.”
A couple traded pushes outside of the mall on Center Street, according to one call. The witness said that the two screamed at each other for a while before calling off the feud.
Just a dog chasing cars... was reported on Hawthorn Avenue.
A woman said that her ex-boyfriend was living in a property she owned. The woman has been trying to sell the property, but her ex was “being difficult.” She asked police what her options were.
A passerby told police that a man was yelling at a woman in front of the taco truck on Third Avenue East North. Police responded and found the people to be “actually in a really good mood” and had a brief misunderstanding. Tacos were had by some.
A lost dog reported near West Nevada Street was described as a “little tiny dog with a furry mustache.”
Police apprehended a juvenile on a joyride in a flatbed truck. This was first reported as the driver pulled out from a First Avenue West location “driving very fast.” The truck was reported at multiple spots, still driving fast, and ended up in a pursuit with law enforcement. The chase ended when the truck became stuck in a field west of Montana 35.
