Christian Center School to perform 'A Taste of Joy'

Christian Center School students are about to bring some joy to the stage.
The 14th annual spring theater production "A Taste of Joy" will be performed next week at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the school, 3636 W. Prairie Ave., Hayden.
In this Depression-era tale, Ridge Toller (senior Garrett Hawkins), his four sons, and "Grandpop" Griff Cardingham (senior John Andrianu), have faced more losses than they know how to handle.
Griff is sour on life, and nothing is right, not even his coffee. But when an unexpected visitor arrives at Carding's Crossing, things begin to change. This stranger, a distant cousin played by junior Luke Ryssel, is unlike anyone Griff has ever seen. The stranger sings and laughs and sees good in the world and in the people around him. Can a young man's joyful heart make a difference in such difficult times?
Ticket prices are $5/adults and $3/students and children.
