Woman in deep doo-doo after break-ins

A woman was having trouble with a man who repeatedly breaks into her home and allegedly defecates on her floor. She called the Columbia Falls Police Department to speak with officers regarding the matter. 

A kid reported that while he and his friend were working at a business on 11th Avenue West, another kid allegedly punched his friend in the face, which caused a bruise, before escaping on a scooter.

A caller reported that someone claming to be an officer was chasing them on Second Avenue East. Dispatch recorded sounds of running and yelling, and the caller yelling “I didn’t do anything.” It was later discovered that the man chasing the caller had been drinking and eventually went home. 

 

A woman called the Whitefish Police Department to report that two dogs chased her down East First Street, nipped at her pants and ripped them. The woman was on her way to work and said this is an ongoing problem. 

A driver on U.S. 93 reported dust caused by construction was so thick he couldn’t see the road. The driver requested that construction crews water the road more frequently. 

 

A man was lying on the ground off First Avenue East with a white cloth over his face, and reportedly had not moved for at least 15 minutes. Kalispell Police Department made contact with the man, who said he just needed to rest. 

A woman reported that someone was running around her house on Rockefeller Drive banging on the windows and doors. The resident discovered the trespasser was a woman who believed her husband was inside the house. The couple were reportedly going through a divorce. Eventually, the woman outside began yelling to the person inside the house, “You’re dead.” Officers removed the trespassing woman from the scene. 

A woman was reportedly following her “baby daddy” down Sixth Avenue West, attempting to serve him a temporary restraining order. She could not catch him, and eventually gave up, saying she “might as well drop the restraining order” since she couldn’t serve him.
