POST FALLS — Post Falls Police is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Northwest Title Loans at the southwest corner of Pleasantview Road and Riverbend Avenue this afternoon.

Police Chief Scot Haug said a man described as light-skinned and in his early 20s entered the business around 1:15 p.m. with a shotgun and demanded money. The suspect was dressed in all-black clothing and “pretty well covered up.”

“He pointed the shutgun at a clerk and she gave him an undisclosed amount of money,” Haug said.

Witnesses last saw the suspect running southbound on Pleasantview. A Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office K-9 was called to the area, but the suspect was not located.

Those with information are urged to contact Post Falls Police at 773-3517 or leave an anonymous tip at www.postfallspolice.com.

Police don’t believe there is any connection to Monday’s robbery and the one at the Check 'n Go, 740 N. Cecil Road, No. 114, on March 18.
