On Friday, April 24, Governor Steve Bullock, along with Sen. Chas Vincent and Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes Chairman Vernon Finley, will sign the CSKT Water Compact into law. The Compact affirms tribal treaty rights, while protecting farmers and ranchers today and for generations, and avoids the uncertainty that decades of litigation would cause.
