Wahluke golfers compete at meet

MATTAWA - Wahluke High School golfers competed in a 4-way meet at Mt. Adams Golf Club in Toppenish last week, but there were two few to post team scores.

Cle Elum won the boys meet with 337 strokes. Zillah scored 357, and LaSalle had 377. There were no girls team scores.

The best individual score was 72 by a Cle Elum boy. A Zillah player led the girls with 98.

Juan Lopez was the lone Wahluke boy to play, shooting 118. Wahluke girls Lizbeth Agapito and Zuri Quevedo shot 67 and 71 respectively over nine holes.
