In loving memory of Mildred "Millie" Florence Sloan, 97, who passed away on April 20, 2015, in Kennewick, Wash. Millie had been a resident of the Tri-Cities, Wash., for the past 18 years. She was bornat Hauser Lake, Idaho, and raised in Rathdrum, Idaho.

Millie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Howell; brother Frank Howell and sister Agnes Lewis; and her husband, William Sloan.

Millie is survived by her children, Larry Young of Asotin, Wash., Janice Horner (Charles) of Ryderwood, Wash., Dennis Sloan (Pauline) of Twin Lakes, Idaho, and Judy Kenner (Gerald) of Pasco, Wash. Also surviving are her sister, Alice Sylte (Vernon) of Coeur d'Alene and brother Arthur (Roseanne) of Eureka, Mont., as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Millie was blessed with nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mom will be greatly missed by her family and we look forward to seeing her in heaven someday.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, at Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Chapel. Graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, at Pinegrove Cemetery in Rathdrum, Idaho.
