The team competed at the Thompson Falls Invitational golf tournament on Saturday. Colton Stodghill shot an 82 to finish third. He was six shots off the pace.

Bigfork’s Joseph Potkonjak carded an 83 to finish in a three-way tie for fourth place.

Outside of the top finishers the Bigfork boys still played well. Jonathan Landon shot 89, Ryder Trent, 92, and Augie Emslie, 91.

The Bigfork boys finished fourth with a 346 total. Thompson Falls was first at 339.

On the girls’ side Kalli Meagher shot an 108 to place seventh. Melissa Paulson shot 123.

Last Tuesday the team travelled to Eureka. Head Coach Steve Hullett said the team didn’t play as well as he had hoped, but their scores were solid.

Potkonjak shot 88, Stodghill 89, Trent 91 and Landon 92.

Tuesday the team travelled to Seeley Lake and will visit St. Regis on Thursday. Next Thursday the Vikings and Valkyries will travel to Helena for Divisionals.
