BEVERLY - The Grant County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who is a suspect in a July 19 gang-related drive-by shooting.

Deputies are searching for Carlos Eduardo Mendoza, 21, of Beverly, who is wanted for drive-by shooting and first-degree assault. His bail is set at $100,000.

He is considered armed and dangerous, according to the sheriff's office.

Mendoza is a suspect in a drive-by shooting that took place in Beverly.

No one was injured and Mendoza reportedly fled the scene with another man in a vehicle toward Mattawa, according to the sheriff's office.

Mattawa police reportedly began pursuing the vehicle in Mattawa.

Mendoza was able to escape police capture, but the driver of the vehicle, Antonio Martinez, 18, of Mattawa, was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of drive-by shooting and first-degree assault.

Mendoza is described as 5-foot-11 inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

The sheriff's office reports that he has a tattoo on his left hand, tattoos of red dots on each finger, a tattoo on his right forearm that says "Maria" and a tattoo on his chest which reads "Can't Stop Won't Stop.
