Lake County officials observe and contain the scene on Montana 35 near Blue Bay on Flathead Lake on Monday afternoon, where an overturned logging truck snapped a cable line. Officials were turning away drivers in both directions, saying the delays could take hours.

A logging truck took a corner too fast and spilled its payload across the roadway, according to Trooper Aaron Day with the Montana Highway Patrol. No other vehicles were involved and nobody was hurt.

Lake County Sheriff Don Bell said the rolled log truck was from John Jump Trucking of Kalispell. The driver reportedly received two traffic citations.

Both lanes of traffic were re-opened by Monday evening.
