14U falls at regional

The Glacier All-Stars 14U team went 3-2 at the Pacific Northwest Babe Ruth Regional Tournament last week in Lewiston, Idaho.

The All-Stars opened with three consecutive wins. They posted a 10-6 victory over Kelso, Wash., followed by a 9-7 win over Twin Cities, Wash., then edged West Linn, Ore 3-2.

Glacier suffered its first loss 7-9 to Lewiston, and was eliminated in a 6-8 loss to the eventual tourney champions from Hazel Dell Metro, Wash.

Rehberg to attend rally for Jesus statue

Montana Rep. Denny Rehberg will attend a public rally in Whitefish on Nov. 10 in support of the World War II statue of Jesus on Big Mountain. Rehberg will be at the VFW Post 276 on Baker Avenue at 1 p.m.
