Laurell Hartle of Kalispell harvests some greens from her Glacier Community Garden plot on Thursday morning, August 6, in Kalispell. According to Pastor Jamie Woods of Glacier Church the community garden has been operating for four years. "We had the land, and good soil," said Woods, "as a church we wanted to do this to bless as many people in the community as possible." The plots are limited but they are free. "Most of the plots in the garden are used by people who are not members of our church," said Woods. The garden is located along Grandview Drive across from Flathead Valley Community College.
