At the Mission Mountain run in Ronan last weekend, there was a tight race in both the 5K and the 10K. Jason Delaney of Polson beat out the younger Paden Alexander of Mission in the 5K by 16 seconds to take first place. Nicole Brist took first in the women’s race with a time of 19:46.

In the 10K, Jordan Ives and Chris Windawer went stride for stride, with Windawer crossing the finish line first by about a second. They finished right at the 41-minute mark.
