Glacier Park International Airport continued its robust year with a record number of passengers in July, serving 942 more passengers during the month than in July 2014.
A total of 36,079 enplaned revenue passengers used the airport in July, compared with 35,137 last July, according to Airport Director Cindi Martin.
The airport had a record-breaking first half of the year, with record passenger counts in five of the first six months.
Last year was a record year for Glacier Park International, with 227,561 passengers. Airport traffic to date this year is up 2.8 percent.
“The additional seasonal service by our airline partners facilitates the growing demand and demonstrates their faith in this region,” Martin said in a prepared statement.
Commercial air service is provided by Alaska, Allegiant, Delta and United. Year-round service is available to Denver, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City and Seattle.
Additional seasonal service is available to Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Oakland/San Francisco and Portland.
