A man died Saturday in an all-terrain-vehicle crash that also hospitalized his 8-year-old son.
Scott Lawrence Anderson, 47, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry.
Curry said Anderson was from Polebridge. He was also a former Columbia Falls city attorney.
Anderson and his son were riding north of Polebridge about five miles west of the North Fork Road.
Curry said that the ATV left the roadway and hit a tree.
Anderson's son was taken to North Valley Hospital with "non-life-threatening" injuries, according to Curry.
The Sheriff's Office is still investigating the crash.
