POST FALLS - Suspected Post Falls shooter Shade Miller is still in jail while his alleged victim remains hospitalized.
The Press confirmed the victim, a 56-year-old Post Falls woman, was being treated Tuesday at the Trauma Surgery Intensive Care Unit at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The victim was shot in the face Sunday at the home where she lives with Miller.
Post Falls Police Capt. Greg McLean told The Press his department does not plan to release the woman's name "to protect her and her family's privacy." The Press will not be releasing her name either, as she could be a victim of domestic violence.
Miller is being held at Kootenai County jail on $100,000 bail and is charged with aggravated battery.
