Ellene M Scott, age 75, of Republic, MO. died August 14, 2015 at her home with family by her side.  She was born January 9, 1940, in Coeur d'Alene, the daughter of George and Frances Capaul.  Ellene married Edward Scott on August 3, 1956 celebrating 59 years of marriage earlier this month.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, George Capaul. Ellene is survived by her husband, Edward, two sons, Craig Scott and Jeff Scott and wife, Lisa; a daughter Susan Shippy and husband, Anthony; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two brothers Ray and Ralph Capaul.  A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Meadors Funeral Home, Republic MO.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or DAV Chapter 11, 1708 E.  St. Louis Street, Springfield MO 65802
