Ellene M. Scott, 75, of Republic, Mo., died Aug. 14, 2015, at her home with family by her side. She was born Jan. 9, 1940, in Coeur d’Alene, the daughter of George and Frances Capaul. Ellene married Edward Scott on Aug. 3, 1956, celebrating 59 years of marriage earlier this month.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, George Capaul. Ellene is survived by her husband, Edward; two sons, Craig Scott and Jeff Scott and wife Lisa; a daughter, Susan Shippy and husband Anthony; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Ray and Ralph Capaul.
