Manslaughter suspect pleads not guilty

SANDPOINT — A Rathdrum man accused of causing a deadly crash on a forest road pleaded not guilty on Friday.

Dustin Willis Harrison’s trial date on misdemeanor charges of vehicular manslaughter and driving without privileges or proof of insurance is pending in Bonner County Magistrate Court.

A public defender has been appointed to Harrison, according to court documents. A resolution proposal has not been filed in the case.

The crash happened north of Athol on June 9 on U.S. Forest Service Road No. 2561A.
