Opera Coeur d'Alene will host its 2015 Opera Gala at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 30 at the Hagadone Events Center, Coeur d'Alene.

Tickets are $65 and attendees will meet the cast members of the upcoming Opera Coeur d'Alene production of "The Magic Flute" and enjoy a live performance by members of "The Magic Flute" cast.

Other festivities include a live Dixieland band, live auction and heavy hors d'oeuvres.

The fundraiser will benefit Opera Coeur d'Alene programs including Opera-tunities, the arts education outreach program, and all other programs and events designed to instill an appreciation of opera.

All productions for the season will be directed by Coeur d'Alene resident Aaron St. Clair Nicholson. Nicholson, Opera Coeur d'Alene's artistic and general director, regularly performs notable roles with opera companies throughout the U.S. and Canada. He made his Metropolitan Opera debut under the artistic direction of famed tenor Plcido Domingo.
