Accidents kill one, injure one

Darcy A. Malatare, 49 of Arlee, died after rolling her car several times shortly before midnight Aug. 19, Don Bell, Lake County Sheriff said.

Malatare was not wearing her seatbelt when her car exited the southbound side of US 93 near Ravalli Hill.

Malatare was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of her accident. 

Though no foul play is suspected, Malatare’s body was transported to the Missoula Crime Lab for normal processing. 

Lake County Search and Rescue member Victor Moldenhauer and is girlfriend Tana Bosker were seriously injured when the motorcycle they were traveling on skid on gravel and slammed into the side of a trailer Aug. 20.

Both victims were transported to medical facilities and at press time were in serious condition.
