Victoria "Tory" Worley passed away peacefully in her sleep at Generations Assisted Living and Wellness in Rathdrum, Idaho, on Aug. 25, 2015.

Tory was born in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, on July 14, 1929, to Harry Fields and Rose (Schaffer) Fields. She lived her entire life in Coeur d'Alene; attending Coeur d'Alene public schools along with her brother and two sisters.

She met her future husband, Dale Worley, at the Iva Lee Dance Hall in Huetter. She spotted him and told her girlfriends that she wanted to dance with him. They were married in Coeur d'Alene on Sept. 5, 1948, at the Methodist Church on Seventh Street.

They were proud parents of a son, Ron, and a daughter, Kay.

In addition to raising her children, Tory enjoyed tending to the family gardens. She also played golf with the Women's Club at the Coeur d'Alene Golf Course. She loved cooking (especially baking) and was famous for her cinnamon rolls and cookies. She and Dale also loved to travel; spending many winters in Hawaii with family and friends. They took trips to California to visit relatives, and also vacationed in Reno and Arizona. Tory helped organize and danced with the "Boot Scootin' Grannies." They performed at the Kootenai County Fair, Lake City Center and many senior centers in North Idaho. In later life, she enjoyed baby-sitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After Dale's retirement from Kaiser, they enjoyed many years with Parker Toyota working as drivers.

Tory was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Irene (Fields) McCurry and Helen "Sis" (Fields) Newton; brother Harry "Bud" Fields and infant grandson Bradley Worley.

In addition to her husband Dale, who is currently residing at Generations; she is survived by her son, Ron Worley and his wife, Marthanne; daughter Kay and her husband, Scott Curry; Ron's children Krista Worley and Jeff Worley (Tracy); and great-grandchildren: Kylie, Braden and Aubreigh Worley.

The family would like to thank the dedicated and amazing staff at Generations for the unconditional love they gave to Tory.

Memorials may be sent to Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011, or to Generations Assisted Living and Wellness (Activities Program) at 13400 N. Meyer Road, Rathdrum, ID 83858.

At Tory's request, no services will be held. Tory will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery in Coeur d'Alene. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
