COEUR d'ALENE - The community Warriors of Hope cancer group, "An Evening of Hope," is making a few changes to accommodate its growing number of attendees.

Starting Oct., 1, the support group for cancer patients, caregivers and survivors will be held in the conference room of Calypsos Coffee and Creamery, 116 E. Lakeside Avenue in Coeur d'Alene. It will still be from 6-7:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month. It will meet in the present meeting place downstairs in the Coeur d'Alene Public Library one last time this Thursday.

Beginning Oct. 8, the new Post Falls group will meet on the second Thursday of every month rather than the third Thursday and will still be held in the Post Falls Library, 821 N. Spokane Street.

The meetings are free and open to the public. All are welcome.

"You don't have to do this alone," said group founder and stage 4 lung cancer survivor Jim Morrison. "If you have cancer, had cancer or are a caregiver, we invite you to join us."
