School Christmas programs are coming up

There’s a host of Christmas concerts and programs on tap this month. Ruder Elementary has a holiday fair Dec. 3 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Ruder also is having Christmas programs in the gym. Kindergarten and first grade present Dec. 21, 1:30-2 p.m. Fourth and fifth grade and choir perform Dec. 22, 9-9:45 a.m. and second and third grade perform 10:30-11 a.m.

Glacier Gateway first and second grades will present a Christmas program in the Columbia Falls High School Little Theater Dec. 17 at 10:30 a.m. First-graders will sing songs from rock n’ roll to hip hop and second graders will perform songs from Boogie Woogie to Latin music. The third, fourth and fifth grades will perform at 1:30 p.m. Students will deck the ‘hall’–idays with jammin’ jingle bells, dancing socks, candles, candy canes, and hip hop elves.

Deer Park’s Christmas program is Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. with a potluck dinner at 6 p.m.

Columbia Falls Junior High will have a choir concert Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. and a band concert Dec. 17, sixth graders will perform at 6 p.m., seventh and eighth graders at 7 p.m.

Columbia Falls High School is having a Christmas band concert Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. and a band and choir concert Dec. 15 at 7 p.m.. Also, there’ll be a jazz cafe in the gym foyer Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. The Columbians and Jazz Factory will perform with the eighth grade jazz band playing as guests of honor.
