Schulz, Ross earn All-State honors

Two Lady Bulldogs have earned All-State recognition for their play on the volleyball court this year.

Whitefish senior Allie Schulz and sophomore Cailyn Ross both have been selected for the elite honor after leading the Lady Dogs to a State A tournament appearance. Both also earned Northwest A All-Conference honors.

Others from the Northwest earning All-State recognition were Columbia Falls players Cydney Finberg and Morgan Stenger, and Kylie Willet of Frenchtown.

Earning second team All-Conference honors from Whitefish is junior Nina Thew.

Rehberg to attend rally for Jesus statue

Montana Rep. Denny Rehberg will attend a public rally in Whitefish on Nov. 10 in support of the World War II statue of Jesus on Big Mountain. Rehberg will be at the VFW Post 276 on Baker Avenue at 1 p.m.
