A full-size pick up truck warming up in its owners hillside driveway slipped away from its perch, across Highway 93 just east of Subway and into Flathead Lake.

Emergency responders made quick work of installing tow equipment to the truck, which slid into shallow water, and pulled the vehicle out of the lake.

Polson City firefighters had to open the trucks doors and release water as the truck was pulled slowly from its watery bed.
