LETTER: Help school kids collect box tops

Hey, do you want to help school kids in your neighborhood? You can in a small way by clipping the BoxTops for Education and Label for Educations labels on soup cans, stock cartons and flour packaging and passing them on to the kids to take to school.

The schools collect these and redeem them for many needed extras such as playground equipment and classroom supplies. Each label is worth 10 cents (or more, in some cases) so don’t throw them away! Give them to the kids on your block and they in turn will give them into their teachers.

If you want to check out the websites for these programs to see which products carry these little labels go to:

www.boxtopsforeducation.com or www.btfe.com and www.labelsforeducation.com.
