Cd'A woman arrested for obstructing, drugs

POST FALLS — Police applied a stun gun to a 23-year-old Coeur d'Alene woman who allegedly resisted being arrested on Interstate 90 near the state line during a traffic stop on Friday night.

Jade K. Ellman was booked into the Kootenai County jail for DUI, obstructing an officer, no proof of insurance, open container and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Her combined bond was $1,975, which she posted on Saturday to be released four hours after her arrest.

Idaho State Police requested a cover unit from Post Falls Police during the traffic stop.

Ellman was the lone occupant in a 2015 Toyota Corolla.

She has been booked into the local jail 10 previous times from 2010 to 2015, including for probation violation, possession of drug paraphernalia and petit theft.
