(NewsUSA) - NewsusaInfographic - Despite all the talk about millennials, baby boomers still comprise almost a third of the U.S. workforce, spend about $157 billion annually on travel, and show little evidence of slowing down. In fact, their need for "functional vision" to accommodate their active lifestyles is a key reason why cataract surgery is increasingly becoming a viable option for patients who don't exactly fit the stereotypical profile. According to a recent report cited by a href="http://www.abbott.com">Abbott, an estimated 870,000 such procedures are projected to be performed in 2015 on those younger than age 65.
