The opening of the latest Star Wars film is hours away, but a Stormtrooper and a Jedi have already been sighted outside the movie theater in Riverstone.

Before 8:30 a.m., with temperatures hovering around 20 degrees, Steve Omodt and Theresa Foster were making sure they would be first in line for the sold out premiere.

Omodt, 24, a Sandpoint native now living in Coeur d'Alene, said his older siblings attended the original premiere.

"I just grew up with Star Wars," Omodt said.

Like millions of moviegoers, he and Foster purchased their tickets in October.
