NOXON – The Noxon Red Devils came back with a defeat, Saturday, after their game against the Charlo Vikings.
The game started with Charlo breaking Noxon’s defense and bringing out 36 points by the end of the first half. The Red Devils fought back, but their offense struggled and only brought in 18 points.
The second half opened with Noxon coming back to bring the fight to Charlo; they pushed the Viking defense and almost kept point for point. They were still behind, though, and were not able to pull in enough points to get ahead. In the fourth quarter, both teams fought to hold the other back and neither team gained lots of points before the buzzer rang.
The game ended with a final score of 37-55 to Charlo.
Riley Fisher led the Red Devils for points, bringing in a total of 13 points.
