SANDPOINT — Former Sandpoint state champion and Oklahoma State All-American wrestler Jared Rosholt returned to his old stomping grounds on Thursday night to watch the Bulldogs blank Bonners Ferry 87-0 in a dominant showing.
Rosholt, 31, is in town for a memorial for his father Jim, who recently passed away, and decided to come watch his former coach Mike Randles lead the current crop of Bulldog wrestlers. The Bulldogs put on quite a show for the man nicknamed “The Big Show.
“It’s neat to see it’s still going strong,” said Rosholt, a three time All-American who followed in the shoes of his older brother Jake Rosholt at Sandpoint, Oklahoma State and now UFC. “Seeing that Randles is still doing a good job. It was fun to watch.”
