By a 2-1 vote, Greg Delavan was re-hired this morning to oversee Coeur d'Alene Airport - Pappy Boyington Field operations.

The decision by Kootenai County's commissioners came just minutes after the special 8 a.m. meeting began. New commissioners Marc Eberlein and David Stewart voted yes to reinstating Delavan; Commissioner Dan Green voted no.

Delavan was fired late last year after some two decades as airport manager. No reason was given for the dismissal.
