A fundraising dinner, dance and silent auction for the Love In The Name Of Christ group will be held at St. Richard’s Catholic Church in Columbia Falls on Saturday, Feb. 14, Valentine’s Day, at 6 p.m. Love Inc. partners with local businesses and churches to provide help for people in need. Tickets are $10 in advance at St. Richard’s or $15 at the door.

Xanterra Glacier National Park Lodges will host the Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours social event at their offices at U.S. 2 and First Avenue West in Columbia Falls on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Literacy Center of Northwest Montana will hold its 10th annual Team Scrabble fundraising event at Flathead Valley Community College’s Arts and Technology Building on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. FVCC’s Culinary Arts Institute will cater the event. Teen fundraiser
Operatic vocalist Idara Aguinaga will be among the performers at the “Night For Love” fundraiser for the Sparrows Nest Homeless Teen Shelter on Feb. 13 at Christ Church Episcopal in Kalispell. The fundraiser will feature a dinner, silent auction and live music from Aguinaga, Don Beans, Craig Hodges, members of the Flathead Valley Community College Vocal Jazz Ensemble, and other local musicians. Shrove Tuesday
The All Saints Episcopal Church, 2048 Conn Road off Highway 40, will hold its annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper in the Parish Hall on Feb. 17 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. with free homemade pancakes, including huckleberry pancakes, and sausage and bacon, including soy sausage.
