Schweikert signs to play football at Montana Tech

Columbia Falls linebacker Ike Schweikert has signed to play football for Montana Tech in Butte.

The senior linebacker was named team defensive MVP in his junior and senior years and was selected first team all-state as a linebacker his junior and senior years. He was also named all-conference defensive MVP as a senior.

Schweikert was named academic all-state six times and was an all-conference wrestler as a junior. He is a member of the National Honor Society and plans on studying engineering at Montana Tech.

He is the son of Suzanne and Jackson Schweikert. His father is the head coach of the Wildcat football team.
