LEVY: Compromise is not an option

On Tuesday, March 10, your vote is crucial to support the Renewal Supplemental Levy for the Coeur d’Alene School District. Supporting public education is important because we are investing in the future of our children.

Failure to pass this levy will compromise the quality of education offered to our children by the best dedicated educators around, who could potentially lose their positions with the district, as well as cutbacks for other district employees.

Ramsey Magnet School of Science, is dedicated to providing a strong education with outstanding opportunities for our children. Ramsey is the only school selected to be a National Title I Distinguished School from Idaho last year and joins only two other schools in Idaho with this distinction since 2012. In addition, Ramsey offers many opportunities for students to grow and excel in. These include math and science clubs, after school enrichment classes, First Lego League Team, school-wide science fair, etc. The staff also actively seeks out grants to fund technology and resources for classroom use.

Please don’t forget the date, March 10, mark your calendars, and join me in voting “YES” on the renewal of public schools’ Supplemental Levy and bring Coeur d’Alene to the best educated school district in the state of Idaho!
