A software programmer called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to warn about a new computer virus. The scientist was alerted to the digital malady from a client. Police told the man that their information technology department was up to speed on a lot of things but thanked him for the information.
The Post Office told a woman to stand guard at a group of mailboxes on Montana 35 after she claimed someone broke into them, according to her report. Some of the boxes had been left open. The woman was concerned that the mail she was expecting had been stolen.
Vandals sprayed caulking all over the windshield of a car on U.S. 2 East, according to the owner. No damage was reported.
A caller reported the theft of a breast pump from a First Avenue West office, according to the Kalispell Police Department.
Police took an intoxicated woman wearing “raggy clothing” to the hospital after she was reported to be burning her skin with a cigarette.
At least 10 men were reported fighting outside a bar on Woodland Park Drive. The fight was broken up and no criminal charges were filed.
The Whitefish Police Department received a call from a man who said that a woman was trying to “rile up” his neighbors against him. Police told the man to contact his landlord.
A woman called the Columbia Falls Police Department to say she would be doing yard work for a Martha Road resident. She told police that the house is near the home of another woman with whom the caller has an apparent “history.” She just wanted to let police know in case the third woman complained.
