Country Financial representative comes to Cd'A

Country Financial Representative Jacqueline Olson will move to a new office, 1450 Northwest Blvd., Suite 202, Coeur d'Alene.

As a financial representative for Country Financial, Olson, of Post Falls, is able to help customers achieve financial security no matter where they're starting from.

Olson's office hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend appointments are available. The office phone number is (208) 660-6213. The Country Financial Group serves about one million households and businesses throughout the United States and offers a full range of financial products and services from auto, home, business, farm and life insurance to retirement planning services, investment management and annuities.

Knudtsen and Meyer join Kootenai Health Foundation board

Kootenai Health Foundation announced that Eve Knudtsen and Chris Meyer are now helping lead the foundation as members of its board.

Knudtsen is president of Knudtsen Chevrolet Co. in Post Falls. She is the third generation to own and operate the dealership her grandfather started in 1939. Knudtsen grew up in Coeur d'Alene, graduating from Coeur d'Alene High School. She attended North Idaho College and Northwood University. She has an Associate of Arts degree in automotive marketing and a bachelor's of business administration with majors in economics and management that she received from Northwood University. She completed the National Dealers Association Dealer Candidate Academy and is currently pursuing a Master Degree of Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University.

Knudtsen has served on numerous boards and committees including past president of Concerned Businesses of North Idaho and past chairman of the Post Falls Chamber of Commerce. She serves on the board of directors of Jobs Plus and is the current Guardian of Bethel No. 7 Job's Daughters International of Coeur d'Alene. Knudtsen is a past recipient of Soroptomist Woman of Distinction for Business and Professional and past recipient of Time Magazine's Quality Dealer of the Year for Idaho. She is committed to educational initiatives throughout North Idaho including having been one of the businesses who purchased the land for KTEC. Knudtsen lives in Coeur d'Alene with her husband, Wayne Cofield, and daughters, Lauren Benedict and Kendra Cofield.

Chris Meyer is a partner at Parkwood Business Properties, one of the region's leading commercial real estate development and management firms. He also serves as the vice president of the Coeur d'Alene Education Partnership, the secretary of the Hayden Lake Watershed Association, and sits on the Urban Land Institute Idaho District Council advisory board as well as the Kootenai Perspectives board. Chris has an undergraduate degree in environmental science from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington and a master's in urban planning from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Washington. He and his wife, Sara, have two young sons and they enjoy skiing, bicycling and spending time on Hayden Lake.

Knudtsen and Meyer will each serve a three-year term that began in January.

They join Kootenai Health Foundation board members Linda Fournier, Mike Chapman, Peter Wagstaff, Steve Griffitts, Georgianne Jessen, Dr. Al Martinez, Russ Porter and John Young.
