Court upholds conviction

SANDPOINT — The Idaho Court of Appeals is affirming a felony drug conviction against a Bonner County man who was stopped for having non-compliant wheel covers on his truck.

Karie Thomas Cooke was stopped by Idaho State Police in 2013 because his truck’s wheel covers failed to cover the entire width of the truck’s tires and failed to extend to a point no more than 10 inches above the road surface.
