MOSES LAKE - A Beverly man was arrested for furnishing alcohol to a minor on Saturday.
Lucio Lemos, 25, of Beverly, was arrested for supplying alcohol to a minor Saturday night. The arrest happened after an anonymous tipster reported a neighborhood disturbance to police.
About 7 p.m. Saturday, the Moses Lake Police Department received a report of several men, dressed in all red, causing a disturbance in the 1000 block of West Marina Drive in Moses Lake.
The caller told police one of the men was allegedly armed with a shotgun, and said that they were discussing shooting an unknown target, according to police records.
The anonymous tipster called police several minutes after the reported incident occurred.
An officer later located a 1994 Acura Integra at a residence in the 9850 block of Stone Road in Moses Lake.
The officer found the Acura was involved in a liquor theft earlier in the day on Saturday at the Moses Lake Safeway.
About 4:30 p.m. on Saturday the police department learned a bottle of vodka had been stolen at the store. Video surveillance captured the theft, in which Lemos was reported to be a suspect.
When officers made contact with the people in the Acura, a 20-year-old Moses Lake man allegedly admitted he was with Lemos when he consumed the alcohol.
Lemos was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for furnishing alcohol to a minor because the man was younger than the legal drinking age.
