TV: Dumping Dish over Fox

Many of us are really upset that Dish has dropped Fox News from its programming. Well, I called Dish at (800) 333-3474 and told them I was looking to switch to a carrier that carried Fox. My brother and his son had called and they were offered up to $35 a month for a year to stay. They switched to Direct TV anyway.

I called and I received $30 a month off my bill for 14 months — a reduction of $420. No new contract. I told my friends that I had hooked up and they also got deals including a free hopper and monthly reduction. So from $57.99 per month to $28.99 per month, finally paying what the service is worth.
