Washington man jailed for stabbing

PRIEST RIVER — A Washington state man was arrested Friday on allegations that he stabbed his father in the neck during an argument.

Morgan Eugene Wolf is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and possession of methamphetamine.

The alleged victim, 56, told Bonner County sheriff’s deputies that he argued with Wolf while he was tending to a campfire with a poker fashioned from a broom handle, according to a probable cause affidavit. The alleged victim said Wolf attacked him with a knife during the argument.
