Three Warriors place at Kittitas

MATTAWA - Five members of the Wahluke High School wrestling team competed at the Kittitas Invitational last Wednesday, and three of them placed.

Sebastian Barajas won three matches by pin and took first place at 113 pounds. Christian Barajas, at 152, won two of his matches by pin and points and took third place.

Jose Madrigal won two of his matches by pin and points, and he took third place at 160.

"Amazing performance from the three wrestlers who placed," coach Rigoberto Jimenez said. "They are working their butts off to climb the ladder of success."
