SAGLE — A former firefighter is suing the Sagle Fire District on allegations that she was sexually harassed by a supervisor and subjected to a hostile work environment.

Counsel for Hayden resident Katie Loper filed the suit in 1st District Court on Tuesday. The suit seeks damages in excess of $10,000.

Loper filed a $1 million tort claim against the district in 2013 and the suit said she was granted permission from the Idaho Human Rights Commission to sue the district on sexual harassment and gender discrimination allegations.
