Grayce Noyo Hattori

Grayce Noyo Hattori, 86, a Moses Lake resident for over 60 years, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2014 her family at her side. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 27, 2015 at Kayser's Chapel of Memories. Please sign the online guestbook or leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapel.com. Grayce was born on February 4, 1928 in Seattle to Shotaro and Tsuneko Gojio. She graduated from high school in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Gojio family was relocated to an internment camp at Minidoka in Idaho during World War II. The Gojio family returned to Seattle where her father started his barber shop.

Grayce married Mike Hattori and moved to Moses Lake where they farmed for over 40 years. She was a member of the Nisei Women's Club.

She will be remembered for being a generous, kind and friendly outgoing person. Her funny laugh will be missed.

Grayce was preceded in death by her husband Mike Hattori. She is survived by her sons, Greg and Dee of Austin,Texas & Gordy and Becky of Redmond, Washington; her grandson, Justin and Kelli of Phoenix, Arizona.
