Changes probably will be coming to the 30-tenant Ironwood Square shopping area on West Ironwood Drive between Government Way and Lincoln Way. The 160,000- square-foot strip mall and pads were sold by its San Diego owner to a new San Diego owner, Tourmaline Capital.

Built in the 1980s, the strip mall also includes the pads of Wells Fargo Bank, Tesoro Gas, Jack in the Box and Schlotzsky's Deli.

Albertson's grocery owns its own space. Massage Envy will open about Feb. 20 in Suite E. Watch for details later. Four other spaces are available through Goodale & Barbieri Co. Contact John Hillier at njohn.hillier@g-b.com or 509 323-7201.

- The wrong website was given for Social Security in the recent item about its late-spring move from 623 E. Wallace Ave. to 7400 Mineral Drive. Check www.socialsecurity.gov.

- Galaxy Gaming Northwest has closed near the southeast corner of Fourth Street and Best Avenue.

- Property owners along major routes to schools need to do better at sidewalk snow removal. As an example, kids walking along Best Avenue to Borah Elementary often are forced to walk in the busy street because of snow berms blocking the sidewalks.

- Last year my 7-year-old grand-nephew Finn Dufresne in Hamilton, Mont., predicted at the beginning of the NFL season that Seattle would beat Denver in the Super Bowl. This year he predicted Seattle would play New England. Watch for his prediction on the outcome.
