Raymond Lee Beardsley, 62, died at his home in Libby on Jan. 12. He was born April 23, 1952, in Browning, and was raised by his adoptive parents, Albert and Doris Beardsley. The family had resided at Whitefish and Columbia Falls before coming to Troy in 1969 and later to Libby in 1978.  He had worked as a general laborer at several jobs and also had been a seasonal firefighter. Ray had been a member of the Blackfoot tribe.  

Preceding him in death were his mother in 1974 and his father in 1984.  Surviving him are many friends he had both here in Libby and in the Flathead Valley.  Private interment will be with his parents at Glacier Memorial Gardens in Kalispell.
