The Columbia Falls boys and girls each held on to the top spot in Class A and the Bigfork boys reclaimed their status as the top team in Class B in the Associated Press Montana prep basketball polls released on Wednesday.

The Wildcats narrowly claimed the top spot in Class A, gaining five of the nine first place votes to top Dillon by one point in the polls. The same happened with Bigfork in Class B, as the Vikings reclaimed No. 1 by a point over undefeated Glasgow.

Missoula Hellgate is the top boys team in Class AA, garnering all nine first place votes, and Box Elder is the top team in Class C.

The Columbia Falls girls are once again the unanimous choice for the top team in Class A, as was Helena Capital in Class AA and Fairfield in Class B.

Glacier is the second-ranked team in Class AA and Bigfork fell one spot to sixth in Class B. Roy-Winifred is the top Class C vote getter.
