ALBERTON – Alberton will be the site of murder, mystery and all the intrigue and drama that goes along with a theatrical production next month after auditions were held last week to cast the roles of the skit.

John Zunski was leading the effort to find the best thespians in the community to round out the cast for the production that he said would contain more than a few surprises for those in attendance.

“As far as I know there are two types of murder mysteries,” Zunski said. “There are participatory or what we are doing which is a skit. It’s more of a dinner theater. The theme is bullets, bounties and broken hearts. It will be based in the 1890s. There will be a cast of seven with five suspects. I don’t wanna say to much more.”

Zunski said the production would go up on Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. He also said the event was a fundraiser for the PEAK Foundation. The PEAK Foundation is a local organization dedicated to providing area youth with safe, entertaining and culturally stimulating activities. The murder/mystery event will help fund PEAK’s summer theater program.
