Florence 'Flo' Graves, 102
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 11 years, 7 months AGO
Florence "Flo" Graves was born on Aug. 4, 1912, in Canada.
After coming to the United States Florence lived in Sandpoint, Idaho, as a child with her sister, Delia and her brothers, Lucein and Beverly Salisbury. She has also resided in the Spokane Valley, Coeur d'Alene and Bayview, Idaho.
Flo married the love of her life, Les Graves, and worked with him in their barber and beauty shop for many years as a beautician. They also owned and ran Whisky Rock Lodge on Lake Pend Oreille; one of their favorite places to be.
Florence was an avid world traveler and loved the outdoors: fishing, boating, picking huckleberries and mushroom hunting throughout the Pacific Northwest. She supported many nonprofit organizations for children.
Florence is survived by her nieces, Lillian Muzatko and Beverly Brickner of Spokane, and Michelle Green and Edward Zeller of California; and many great-nieces and nephews. Rest in peace "Auntie Flo."
